A Nashville-based real estate developer and investor has paid $26 million for a two-building office complex at the Grassmere Business Park where global technology support and protection company Asurion has its corporate heaquarters.
MarketStreet Enterprises bought the buildings at 648 and 650 Grassmere Park Drive from a group of investors linked to The Mathews Company.
The Nashville office of real estate brokerage firm Colliers International, which is affliated with The Mathews Company, manages the 224,930-square-foot office complex. It includes a three-story Class A office building with an attached one-story annex, according to LoopNet.com.
MarketStreet is best known as the developer that has led transformation of Nashville’s Gulch area into a mixed-use neighborhood. Its most recent projects include that area’s first major office tower, Gulch Crossing, which just opened at 1033 Demonbreun St. and includes retail space.
Asurion, whose business includes cellphone and device protection, remains sole tenant for the two-building complex at Grassmere Business Park. That park is off Trousdale Drive near Harding Place and Interstate 65 and includes other office buildings.
