Trolley Barns

Originally constructed in the 1930's, the Trolley Barns is an adaptive reuse project of six single story historic buildings.  In 2010, The Mathews Company converted the 90,000 square foot portfolio into mixed use, office and retail space.  The Trolley Barns was awarded the Excellence in Development Award from the Urban Land Institute in 2013.

  • Ownership Structure:  Joint venture with the city of Nashville and other local partners.
  • Attributes:  Long term ground lease with the city of Nashville, historic tax credits and tax increment financing, 100% leased within a year of delivery.
